Nothing is too hard for God

Nothing is too hard for God

Bible:Genesis 18:1-14

Reading

Is anything too hard for the Lord? (V.14).

God is able to meet all our needs. Nothing is too difficult for Him. Sarah needed to learn this truth. God’s promise to give Abraham a son is in Genesis 17:21. In the next chapter the promise was repeated to Abraham as he talked outside his tent with three men sent from God. This time Sarah overheard the conversation. To her, having a child in her old age was impossible. So she “laughed to herself” (GENESIS 18:12). God then said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really have a child, now that I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord?” (VV.13-14).As Christians, we can have the same confidence. Abraham’s God is our God, and He is all-powerful. He’s the Creator of the universe. Nothing is too big for Him. No problem slows Him down. No obstacle can stand against Him. Our heavenly Father is in control of every situation. What confidence it gives us! The all-knowing, all-present, all-powerful Creator and King can do anything. When we give our lives, our problems, our doubts and our stresses to our heavenly Father in prayer, He promises us that nothing is too hard for Him. He will lead us through it all.

NOTHING IS TOO DIFFICULT FOR GOD.
