Bible: Psalm 31:19-24
In the shelter of your presence you hide them … you keep them safe in your dwelling (V.20).

A school in Japan is testing a system to improve the security of the children—and also give their parents peace of mind. The kids carry ‘radio frequency tags’ as part of their school uniform which record whenever they enter or leave the school gates.
The system automatically sends an email to tell parents that their children have arrived at school or left for home. Some of the kids travel a long way to get to the school, so their parents are glad to know when they’ve arrived safely!
In a dangerous world it’s good to remember that our ultimate safety and protection lie in God’s hands. In the Bible, David the song-writer remembered a time when he felt completely cut off from God’s help. But he learned that even in hard times, God would hide those who fear Him. “In the shelter of presence you hide them from all human [plans]; you keep them safe in your dwelling” (PSALM 31:20)
God always knows where we are. There is no place where He does not see our need and hear our prayers. “You heard my cry for mercy when I called to you for help” (V.22). “Be strong and take heart,” David said, “all you who hope in the Lord” (V.24).
THERE IS NO SAFER PLACE THAN THE HANDS OF GOD.
